SNL Series is much superior design and upgraded construction as compared to the previous series like SN, SNA and SNH. As basic principle, the SNL series too is easily adaptable in basic dimensions, that is, one can readily replace with previous series SN, SNA and SNH. Looking to increasing technical demand in the field, many more features in SNL series are added which makes it an universal product.
Design up gradation and construction of SNL series imparts this series more strength, ease of operating conditions like higher temperature and higher vibration as well as many variants to help easy maintenance. Streamlined construction of SNL is well matched with foundry process which aims its best to produce zero defect castings.
The hollow bottom base is strengthened with two side ribs and one cross rib at the center which allows increased load carrying capacity. Among other characteristics, this housing is very stiff. This quality enables SNL series a preferred choice for vibration application, especially in fan industries.
The special construction of SNL also enables better heat dissipation thru its walls and bottom. Shaft diameter 20 mm to 140 mm for taper bore bearing and 25mm to 160mm for straight bore bearing which is the limiting range for use of suitable bearing for this series.
